Beijia “BJ” He, RDO Lead of the East Zone, joins Panda Expressed to share about his life’s journey, as well as his experiences leading the team in New York City through the COVID-19 pandemic.

Beijia “BJ” He grew up humbly and happily in Anhui Province, China surrounded by family, good cooking, and music. Following his graduation from Shanghai Theater Academy, he and his parents immigrated to Minnesota in hopes of better lives. BJ applied for a General Manager position at Panda Express thanks to the encouragement of his wife. He has since risen through the ranks and now helps to lead the East Zone -- including through the COVID-19 outbreak in New York City this past spring. Through it all and with the support of his Panda Family, BJ kept the health and safety of our associates top-of-mind and never forgot that we at Panda are a people-first company.
